Lyndsie asked Allen Page to go to the dance with her. She bought some yummy cookies from Cutlers and had them decorate the cookies with letters that spelled out "Preference with Lyndsie?" We bought a whole bunch of balloons and confetti and decorated his room. When he got home, he had to unscramble the cookies. Tricky, I know! But he already knew that Lyndsie was going to ask him. He answered her back in a fun way. He covered her floor, her bed, inside of her bed with Swedish fish and gummy worms and then had a fishing pole holding a sign that said "It would be off the hook to go to the dance with you"
They had a fun day. Lyndsie and Allen doubled dated with Jeremy and Jordan. During the day, they went laser tagging and then went to get some hot chocolate because it was a very cold day!
The boutonniere got the best of us...
The actual date started at 5:00 and we could not get Allen's boutonniere on. I tried, Lyndsie tried, we even called Janine for her expertise, but she didn't know either. It was funny. We even had some minor trouble with Jeremy's. Maybe next time we should ask the florist before we just take it and leave.
