On Febrary 27, 2009M.C. Hammer and Vanilla Ice came to town. In the ninth grade, Lyndsie and Kiersten learned the entire song of "Stop, Collaborate, and Listen"
by Vanilla Ice and when they heard that he was coming in concert...plans were made and tickets were bought. Kiersten came over early and they made T-shirts and got themselves all ready for the night. Lyndsie came home after and said that it was so fun...the best ever!!! Steve drove them down to the McKay Center in Orem. Dropped them off and waited until 1:00 in the morning. What a great Dad!
The night wasn't over for everyone else though...While they were getting ready for their big night, Brin and I went with Kim, Grace and Sara to a different concert...sort of! We went to see The Jonas Brothers 3D.
Brinley thought that it was okay, but I was having a hard time staying awake!
...and Sydnie was having a good time hanging out with friends and making spaghetti for everyone! Yum! Good food, great friends, and fun.

That Vanilla Ice thing brings back some good old high school memories. How funny...I didn't know that he was still performing!! Let alone that anyone was buying his tickets! heehee
