The Cheerleaders traveled down to Salt Lake for their first competition of the year...they were unprepared because one girl quit and 2 (including Lyndsie) had broken bones. So the routine had to be redone as of a week ago. The girls are tired and wore out and have been working hard so hard. But they took first and they beat Northridge so everyone was happy and they have a couple of weeks to work before they compete again.
A couple of weeks ago, Lyndsie was at cheer practice and fell during a standing tuck on her hand and ended up breaking her knuckle. She has been in a lot of pain the past couple of weeks. We had to take her to a hand specialist because they were debating on whether or not doing surgery because the actual knuckle is partially crushed, causing a step or an uneven part where is should be even for movement. It isn't a good picture, but they ruled out surgery and they are going to xray it every week for the next couple of weeks to make sure it doesn't move. If it does...then they will have to do surgery.
