This year we spent New Year's Eve with the Ences and the Pratts. We went up to Fruit Heights to the Ence's home and celebrated the evening up there with our kids also. Lyndsie and Sydnie had other plans of course so they were not with us, but the others were. We had dinner and visited and played games with everyone. It was so so so good to be with the Ences and to hear their stories and to laugh with them. I miss them! We stayed until the clock struck 12 and all the kids were wide awake also and we welcomed in the new year with shouts and hurrahs. My most favorite part of the whole night was just being together...even though we don't see the Ences very much, it is so good to be able to get everyone together (kids and all) and carry on as if they still lived next door and everyone just feels so comfortable together. I just love 'em!
