FINAL DAY! Boo HooI could hardly take the sadness! Packing up in the morning was one of the saddest things that I have done in a long time. I was so depressed. But on a brighter note...we still had a whole day ahead of us! Once we had everything packed up and checked out of the hotel, we headed out to Pearl Harbor. It was amazing! Everyone loved to see the big ships and torpedoes. We watched a movie telling us a little about the time and events of Pearl Harbor. It was very interesting. Even to Sam. We also took a ferry out to the Arizona Memorial. This is where they have built a Memorial for all of the lives lost on the battle ship Oklahoma. After Pearl Harbor, we drove back to Honolulu and went to a mall and shopped until it was time to head on out to the airport for our red eye flight back to Salt Lake City. By now, Lyndsie wasn't the only one with swollen feet. Mine were a little swollen yesterday, but you should have seen them today. At the airport in L.A., they were bigger than I have ever seen them before. Kim got off the plane and hers were great big too. We laughed so hard at our swollen feet, we cried!
Aloha!
(in Hawaii, it means hello and goodbye)
we will miss you Hawaii...we have loved it!
