Cabin Fever!

Now I know why people get cabin fever...! We went up with the Crosbys to their cabin and we had the best time. Their cabin is up by Smith and Moorehouse and it was so beautiful up there. All of the kids had so much fun...there were just so many things to do. We arrived later on Friday, cooked some pizzas and then just visited and played games. Saturday was the perfect day...we all slept in, had a great breakfast and then packed up to go to the lake. At the lake, we fished, canoed, played in the water, fished some more, canoed some more and played, played, played. Brinley, Sam, and Adam did not stop all day long! We had so much fun, we laughed all weekend long...I just love the Crosbys!

At the lake...as soon as we got there, these three went into action. They were the first one's to quickly grab the raft and get down to business...

Sam was like an expert at skipping rocks and every time he would cast out his fishing pole, he would call himself a professional, except he couldn't say the word.


Wayne and Steve pretty much spent a lot of their time fixing fishing poles that had gotten tangled. Janine and I thought that it was so funny that they were fixing them at the same time over and over again! What good dads!

We saw deer, a moose and more deer. Later that evening, we were all going on a walk and Brinley was riding Sam's bike and a deer jumped out about a foot in front of her and leaped across the road. It was quite amazing and a little scary...she was almost ran over! Later on our walk, we saw a beautiful moose just standing in some trees only about 30 yards away.
