A Great Visit

On our way home from Jackson Hole, Christie and I stopped in to visit my Grandma! She was happy to see us and asked us about our weekend. She asked us "Why in the &$@! did we have to go that far to find fun?" and "What fun is there to do in Jackson Hole anyways?" Even though it was nice to be with my mom and sister and Tami...I had to agree with my Grandma. She always knows just how to put things! Jackson Hole isn't that fun of a place when you have been there before, all of the shops look the same and there really isn't anywhere to eat and just like Grandma said, it is a LONG drive!
While visiting with Grandma, she showed us some of the things that she has been working on. I am amazed at the perfect stitches that she is still able to make! She still does such beautiful work...and this is not all that she is working on. She found some old quilt blocks that were about 16X16 in size with a lot of stitching on them that needs to be finished so she plans on finishing them and making a table runner. She's just amazing!
Grandma is 96 and will turn 97 in November...she is doing so good!
